Anasazi Art, History, and Culture
The Anasazi inhabited the Four Corners area of the southwestern United States between the years 700BC and 1275 AD. They had no kings or nobles. They were mostly farmers. However, they were also amazing builders who excelled in masonry. The Anasazi constructed circular kivas, ceremonial centers, enormous road systems, buildings as high as seven stories, and elaborate irrigation systems.
