Mayan Art, History, and Culture

Currently, there are 11.2 million people living in Guatemala. About 50% are indigenous. Almost all are Mayan except for a small group of indigenous people called the Chinka. There are approzimately 20 distinctly different Mayan languages. The four largest Mayan groups are the Quiche, Mam, Kekchi, and the Cakchiquel.
